Talk to someone who understands someone just like you.

NAMI Connection is a recovery support group for adults with mental illness regardless of their diagnosis. The National Alliance on Mental Illness affiliate, the Greater Boston Consumer Advocacy Network (GBCAN) is pleased to sponsor a NAMI Connection Boston and Somerville Peer Support Groups, Talk to someone who understands someone just like you. NAMI Connection is a recovery support group for adults with mentalillness regardless of their diagnosis. The National Alliance on Mental Illness affiliate, the Greater Boston Consumer Advocacy Network (GBCAN), www.namigbcan.org is pleased to sponsor a support groups in Boston and Somerville.  Each group is offered free of charge and is led by trained individuals who are also in recovery - people who understand the challenges we face. NAMI Connection groups are offered without an educational format, and no registration or enrollment is required.

The Boston Resource Center will be offering free computer classes on
Wednesdays from 3-5pm starting September 15th.  There will be four classes for beginners -- no experience necessary! followed by four intermediate level classes.

Free typing instruction and additional intro to computers will offered on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3-4pm starting August 4th.  The lead instructor will be Bob Bund.

Participants learn from each others. experiences, share coping strategies, and offer each other encouragement and understanding. NAMI Greater Boston Consumer Advocacy network is a not for profit, grass roots organization that provides advocacy, education, and support for persons in recovery from mental illness.
