Communities Abroad: Denmark

I am writing on behalf of RecoveryDK, which is the city government unit, which recently facilitated a three year plan to implement a recovery oriented paradigm in the city's delivery of psycho-social rehabililtation services. RecoveryDK was previously the City of Aarhus' Recovery Secretariat, in Denmark.

We have six employees three of whom self-identify as consumers of psychiatric services.

In Aarhus the Recovery Secretariat had been working with a common development plan for the entire Department of Social Psychiatry, which includes approximately 580 employees and 1500 users/consumers.

We would be very appreciative if you could add a link to the English section of our website on your links page. If we don’t already have a link to your site on our international links page, we will of course reciprocate by adding one.

Our English section is fairly extensive and we hope it will help inform and inspire others interested in this type of work. We look forward to developing more international contacts with others working in this field.
