Peer Coordinator at Vinfin

Vinfen has several Peer Coordinator positions available throughout eastern Massachusetts.  Peer Coordinator provides education and advocacy to support the recovery of persons served by Community Based Flexible Support (CBFS) by helping clients explore their options and gain the confidence, skills and resources needed to succeed in self-determined goals.  Peer Coordinator functions as an integral member of a Collaborative Action for Recovery (CAR) team. 

Job Requirements:  Must have lived experience as a recipient of services for people with psychiatric conditions and be well along in own personal recovery. Valid driver’s license strongly preferred.  It is strongly preferred to have access to an operational and insured vehicle and be willing to use it to transport clients. Bilingual and/or multicultural applicants are encouraged to apply.  Peer Coordinators may be hired at three qualification levels.  For level I: two to three years lived experience, Certified Peer Specialist credential preferred. For level II: education and/or training equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in a human services discipline required, CPRP certification may substitute for a Bachelor’s degree.  For level III: education and/or training equivalent to a Master’s degree in a human services discipline required.

Work Environment:  Program office approximately 25% of work hours.  Travel to clients’ homes and community locations approximately 75% of work hours.
