Gift Shop Manager, Assistant Managers and Sales Associates Gift Shop

The MBRLC has a Gift Shop that is located in the Solomon Carter Fuller building lobby that needs care, attention, love and nurturing.
We are looking for people to Volunteer to run the gift shop. The position of Gift Shop Manager comes with full volunteer privileges at Boston Medical Center including a free lunch and free parking. The other positions receive a healthy discount on certain items in the gift shop as a perk.
All Gift Shop staff will have access as Boston Resource Center Community Members to the fitness center and swimming pool as well as the educational classes and internet access computers. We are looking for people with creativity, preferably having some retail experience, but more importantly a true joy in working with other people. This is a great opportunity for folks who want to get hands on experience in sales to put on their resume. We are open now one day a week, but would like to expand, and be open ideally Monday - Friday, 10am - 4pm.
We currently sell art from Peer Artisans and would like to develop more relationships in the Boston area. We are also planning two holiday craft fairs this holiday season that the Gift Shop staff would help organize.
