M-POWER looking for Board members
M-power is looking for a few good people primarily in the Western and Southeast regions, and a couple of at-large positions on the board.
Time commitment is approximately 5 hours per month.
We are looking for board members who are willing to learn how to become a leader and advocate for mental health. Prospective board members must be in mental health recovery.

an application. M-POWER was founded in 1988 to work for wellness, empowerment, and the rights of people with mental health disabilities. M-POWER is a member-run organization composed of people with mental health conditions. M-POWER stands against stigma, bigotry, and discrimination that impede people with lived experience of mental health diagnosis or trauma the ability to live as dignified people. M-POWER has continued its activism in Emergency Room Rights, Fresh air Campaign, peer respite legislation, and fights to gain back some of the budget cuts in community services.
