We will have photo displays of hundreds of individuals labelled as “mentally ill” who have died in recent years due to brutal mental health/criminal justice practices. We will read the names of each of the victims lost to this brutality.

The event is intended to evoke the photo display in the Globe Spotlight article that portrays us as murders and offer an alternative perspective in which we are far more likely to be victims of violence than perpetrators.
